What is a Supertutor Day?

A Supertutor Day runs from 9.30am to 3pm and provides a whole day of varied and interesting learning activities for your child. These days are designed to spark the flame of interest in education using a variety of subjects including Art, History, Maths, Music, English Literature, Science, Politics, Physics and Astronomy.

First you will have a FREE consultation to discuss, assess and consider your child’s current situation, individual potential and future requirements. Attending a consultation places you under no obligation to use any of the services.

A personalised itinerary of morning classroom-based learning and an afternoon visit to a local museum, gallery or place of historical and educational interest would then be arranged.

A responsible parent or guardian is required to present at all times during the day - usually at a weekend. All transportation expenses, entrance fees or other expenses are met by the customer.

Mr Dye provides and arranges Maths, English and other subject materials. Your Supertutor researches points of interest and learning opportunities for your child throughout the afternoon visit.  Accompanying complimentary homework tasks for each session and the afternon visit are provided. Learning materials, notebooks and equipment is provided as appropriate.

9:45am - 10:45 Maths in the Real World. Prime Numbers, Using Prime Numbers, Fibonnaci Numbers, Pi and Imaginery Numbers!

!1:00am - 11:30 English Creative Writing “Show don’t Tell” Planning a Project

11:30 - 12noon Physics and The Cosmos:SETI and the search for Extra-terrestrial Life

Lunch break and travel  (Your lunch venue choice: Nandos)

Museum Visit

1:30 - 3:30 Weston Park Museum, Sheffield
